Having a Dog is Better than Having a Girlfriend/Boyfriend

You're in a relationship and everything is going great. Then, all of a sudden , the other person cheats on you, and you two breakup faster than a little kid opening presents on Christmas morning. It’s kind of like in The Notebook when Allie and Lon are in the hotel room and they break their engagement off because she was with Noah.This is why having a dog is better than having a boyfriend and girlfriend, because I don’t think a dog can cheat on you. I mean, I don’t think a dog could hurt your feelings, and a dog will give you unconditional love if you just give it food and water. How in the world could a dog cheat on you?

A dog can’t hurt your feelings because they know you're the one that feeds it and gives it water. Like the only way they could hurt your feelings is if they died. Like they provide comfort and company without judgment or question-probably because they can’t talk-but it’s still better than hearing someone complain about something isn’t it? But you can get another dog from the animal shelter if they were to die. When you go through a breakup you can’t just get another person because like you would have to date, and then you would have to go through that whole process.

You think people will give you unconditional love? Ha! They don't. Why do you think people cheat on people? It’s because people don’t really love other people. Like, if they loved you they wouldn't have cheated. There is a 25% chance of your boyfriend or girlfriend cheating on you. When your dog loves you, they love you so much that if you die they will stay beside you until another person gets there. I don’t think another person would do that.

Then, how does a dog cheat on you? There is still a 25% chance of you being cheated on. Like when they leave you for a couple of days or weeks and they come back and you know that they were with another family and that family took care of them. Just imagine how your dog feels when you're in a relationship. They more than likely don’t care. They probably don’t like the lack of attention. They probably care as much as you would when they go to their other family.

So, in conclusion, having a dog is better than having a boyfriend or girlfriend. A dog can’t hurt your feelings. They will give you unconditional love, and they will not cheat on you.So, I think I would rather have a dog than a boyfriend or girlfriend, matter of fact ,I have a dog named Diamond. That dog hates to be by himself ;at night, he barks at my window all night and I mean ALL NIGHT. But I'd rather have that than being in a relationship in the year 2021.
