Starbucks vs Dunkin Donuts: Pumpkin Spice Latte
Everyone knows that pumpkin spice is a go-to fall favorite, but who really has the best fall flavors? Dunkin vs. Starbucks: a true clash of the titans. Most would have to agree that Starbucks has a more sophisticated taste and depth of flavor, but the majority of Dunkin products are much more reasonably priced in comparison. For example, a pumpkin muffin at Starbucks is $1.26 more, but it is half the size of Dunkin’s, and their pumpkin spice lattes are $0.16 more, but 2 oz less. However, despite the price, Starbucks has a stronger coffee taste, and their muffin has a more pleasantly pungent pumpkin power to it.
Compared to the strong coffee flavor in Starbucks, Dunkin’s has more of a pumpkin taste. And Dunkin’s iced coffee screams trendy fall photo sesh, but it does not come close to bringing the warmth and coziness of a hot latte from Starbucks. Also, when it comes to food, Starbucks offers a pumpkin scone, loaf, and cream cheese-centered muffin. Dunkin just offers a plain pumpkin muffin and doughnut. It is no secret that Starbucks offers more options drink-wise, but is it still overrated? Most people go there and feel overwhelmed when trying to find something new, but Dunkin offers a variety for different tastes without causing panic. So, in conclusion, when trying to find a good place for coffee or wanting to satisfy your sweet-tooth, it truly comes down to price vs. pleasure.
