To celebrate the 49th anniversary of one of the most well known boy bands in the world’s iconic appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, we decided to do an album ranking. The Beatles were a worldwide hit, and a lot of their songs are still played and loved even though they are considered to be fairly old. This countdown will be based completely on the opinion of the newspaper staff.

  1. Abbey Road

The first on the list is Abbey Road. Even though this amazing album came out in 1969, several songs are still played on the radio! This album also contains one of the Beatles’ most famous songs, “Here Comes the Sun.” It also features a fantastic medley on the B-side of the album. This was the eleventh album produced by the Beatles and one of the band's most famous.

  1. Revolver

A very close second is Revolver. This album came out in 1966, just a few years before Abbey Road. This album holds some of the most well known songs from the Beatles, such as “Yellow Submarine” and “Eleanor Rigby.”

  1. Help!

Third place is awarded to the album “Help!” Just like Revolver, this album has several well-known songs. Released in 1965, seven out of the fourteen songs appeared in the movie “Help!” Not only this, but the song itself was the number one song for three weeks in the United States and the United Kingdom.
