Welcome Back, Mr. Woods!
Here at Oliver Springs High School, we welcome back Mr. Jeff Woods as our interim principal. Mr. Woods is a former teacher, vice principal, and principal of OSHS, holding the chief position from 2004 to 2015 before retiring after 31 years. Before returning back to Oliver Springs High School, during the last seven years, Mr. Woods has enjoyed gardening, genealogy, and Bible study at church.
A week before he came back, he was in Florida on the beach, not even having a second thought towards coming back to his old school, Oliver Springs, to be our principal for a year. It goes without saying that many members of the community and school are delighted to have this familiar face walking the halls again. When asked how he feels about the change in command, Coach Rather says, “I feel good about it, I do. We were in a tight spot, had a change of leadership in the middle of the year and I think it would be a hard pressed to do any better than Mr. Woods.¨
