Tuesday, August 16th, was a heated evening. It was the first Oliver Springs High School girls soccer game, and a surprising defeat by Clinton High School, losing by one point. Despite the loss, these girls never lost their determined, strong-willed spirit. After Brenna Davis got hurt on the field, the team was ready to avenge their injured teammate. Armetta made it all the way to the goal, got blocked, and Triplett tapped it in to finish the job. These girls played their hearts out for the first game and they will continue to as the season progresses.
