August 18th, 2022, Oliver Springs Ladycats Volleyball team played their first home game against Wartburg. They struggled in the beginning, but they refused to give up. They ended up winning the second set, but unfortunately it was not enough. They fought their hardest but lost by one set. Junior Captain, Evie Denham, says, “In my opinion, we always start the season off rough then get better. But once we find our groove, this team will finally prove itself.” They have definitely come far from their start, winning two out of five games. Their season is, indeed, on an uphill climb.
